Speed it up
Use the motivation of someone waiting in line to use the equipment to power through your sets more efficiently. This will probably mean less texting and Facebook time in-between sets.
Make a friend
Ask someone how many sets they have left on the equipment you are waiting for and ask if they mind if you work in. You can make unexpected friends this way as an added bonus!
Find out what the busiest times are at the gym and simply avoid them. If it is classes you are after, arrive early to secure your spot.
It is inevitable that the gym will fill to capacity for the first couple months of the year, however, ultimately it can work for the best if you set your mind on the benefits of breaking the “routine”.
